Arapahoe Acres – The Kern House -1952- SOLD

Though every home built in Arapahoe Acres is unique unto itself very few can lay claim to the history of The Kern House. Designed and built in 52’ by Edward Hawkins this edifice was featured in the House & Home, August 1952 Edition.  The garage (converted) and the studio were designed by Hawkins and built by Clyde Mannon (A Acres Construction Manager), 1964.  The original owners were close friends of Hawkins. His focus on horizontal lines is obvious in many details.
